Massage Therapy is a soft tissue, hands-on therapeutic treatment proven effective for treating pain and discomfort as a result of injury, occupational stress and chronic conditions. In a multidisciplinary atmosphere, massage treatment is an excellent adjunct to other treatment options including stretching, strengthening and conditioning.
Sports Medicine's Registered Massage Therapists provide effective results such as:
• Increasing circulation
• Increasing lymphatic flow
• Temporarily decreasing blood pressure
• Providing a general relaxing effect on the body (stress related conditions)

Appointments can be made without a referral. Services are generally covered through private extended health care plans (a physician's referral may be required). Motor vehicle insurance covers massage treatments although prior approval is necessary.
