GrowCo Postpartum Rehabilitation

Throughout your pregnancy, an army of medical professionals work tirelessly to support your health and treat your body with the utmost respect. The next step is helping navigate the recovery of your body after the delivery of your baby and impact it can have on your health.

Our GrowCo Postpartum Rehabilitation program is led by Chiropractor, Dr. Brittlyn Bos. The goal of this program is to bridge the gap for postpartum women by providing a postnatal assessment and establishing an individualized rehab program targeting core, pelvic floor and total body. We want to provide evidence-based care and advocate for women past their 6-week check up. As a GROWCO practitioner, Dr. Bos is trained to assess and treat moms at any stage of postpartum to help prevent, reduce or resolve symptoms associated with childbirth such as:

  • Diastasis recti
  • Incontinence
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Pelvic pain
  • Low back pain
  • Injuries common to new mommas

Dr. Bos' treatment will include the following:

  • Conducting a proper health history and physical examination of postpartum women—whether they are weeks, months or years into their journey.
  • Providing proper assessment techniques for diastasis recti, as well as techniques to generate core tension, breath work and intra-abdominal pressure.
  • Safely prescribing core and pelvic floor exercises to her patients and confidently advising patients about what exercises to avoid and modify in the postpartum period.
