Physio Jamie Deloyer talks about Ankle Instability!

Happy Wednesday! Today our Physiotherapist, JAMIE DELOYER, talks about chronic ANKLE INSTABILITY.

This condition is characterized by a recurring “giving way” of the outer (lateral) side of the ankle. It often develops after repeated ankle sprains that have not healed adequately.

Usually, this feeling of “giving away” can occur while running, walking or doing other activities but it can also happen when you’re simply standing. This instability could be accompanied by pain, tenderness, stiffness & swelling.

Our physiotherapists can provide various treatments & an exercise program to strengthen your ankle.
