Recently, three Barrie Colts AAA Major Atom players and Mind to Muscle clients - Liam Carroll, Larry Keenan, and Carson Rehkopf - were offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in an Elite Spring Hockey Program as part of the Toronto Bulldogs Hockey Club. Through this affiliation with the Toronto Bulldogs, the boys attended the Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament, which was held earlier this month in Edmonton, Alberta. This tournament is recognized as Canada’s foremost hockey tournament showcasing top ten year olds from across North America. Over 75 NHL players, such as Steven Stamkos, Jordan Eberle and Jonathan Toews, have had the opportunity to play in this tournament during their minor hockey careers.

The boys faced some tough competition over the 9 game tournament, but in the end were victorious capturing the championship with a decisive 4-2 win over the Saskatchewan Junior Pats. It was an incredible experience for these Barrie boys, who not only worked hard on the ice, but also have been part of the Mind to Muscle program off the ice helping them to reach their full potential.

Congratulations Liam, Larry, and Carson and good luck in the winter season with the Barrie Colts AAA Major Atom Team!
