The most common types of urinary incontinence is stress urinary incontinence, urge urinary incontinence or mixed urinary incontinence (a combination of the two) Urinary incontinence can be a result of both overactive or underactive pelvic floor. While urinary incontinence is common is NOT normal and pelvic floor physiotherapists are trained to assess and treat urinary incontinence.
